Terengganu ! Here I come

1000 : departed from KLCC straight to Kuala Terengganu. Gonna spend my November 2012 here. May my weeks to come will made my bright future.. InsyaAllah :)

Vacation (Miri-Brunei)

First time keluar negara.. Haha! Meh I share sikit experience.. Share kebebalan aku dengan rakan aku.

Plan nieyh on the spot betol. Balek je dari offshore, the next day terus decide nak gi Brunei.. Bertuah aku dapat rakan macam Sabena nieyh.. Cool je layan idea sudden gini..

Kronologi :

0900 : Bangun pagi. Kemas-kemas rumah. Tunggu Sabena abes layan gym. Iron-iron baju. Seap-seap mandi wangi-wangi. Time nieyh kitorang baru nak usha blog pasal Brunei. Ape tempat-tempat menarik kitorang patut layan semua.

1100 : Gerak pegi Parkson. Tujuan hanya dua - tukar duit di Money Changer and breakfast. By the way, B$1 = RM2.50

1200 : Terus kitorang bergegas shoot ke Brunei. Yang seronoknye, masing-masing nye GPS buat hal .. Nais.. Stop jap kat Petronas station, isi fuel plus tetanye jalan ( lagak seorang tourist ). Alhamdulillah.. Dapatlah simple guideline : Jalan ke arah Lutong, Kuala Baram, and masuk ke Sungai Tujuh (kastam). Senang cakap sampai ke hujung dunialah.. Kata akak petrol pump tuh lah. : Sampai di kastam. Terhangak-hangak gaya tak pernah keluar Malaysia.

• First checkpoint, passport dihulurkan. Tujuan? Untuk di cop check out Sarawak. Tapi, kalau korang masuk Sarawak guna a piece of paper tuh, sila bawa untuk diserahkan. And kertas tuh korang tak kan dapat balek which means nanti kalau nak keluar Sarawak thru airport, just hand over your passport instead.
• Second checkpoint, passport dihulurkan. Tujuan? Untuk di cop check in Brunei.
• Third checkpoint, pass kereta dihulurkan sebab kitorang bawak kereta masuk Brunei. Pass kereta boleh didapati dengan mengisi form yang korang boley mintak kat kaunter before checkpoint 1. Ops! Copy geran kereta diperlukan di sini okay?

WELCOME TO BRUNEI!

tempat kitorang berniat nak singgah : Kuala Belait, Seria and Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB). Saje nak tengok tempat orang.. Negara orang..

1500 : We decided to go to yang furthest checkpoint first, BSB.

What happened in BSB?

• Singgah di Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin. Masjid ni memang symbol Brunei. Masjid ini memiliki tinggi 52 meter (171 kaki), mempunyai kubah utama dari emas tulen, dan hampir semua bahan bangunan didatangkan dari luar negara. Contoh, marmar dari Itali, granit dari Shanghai, lampu kristal dari Europe, serta karpet dari Arab Saudi.

• Singgah masuk mall. Hajat nak carik souvenir.. Tak kan nak pulang tangan kosong kan? Huhu.. Tshirt kat sini (Royal Selangor), B$15.90. Keychain, B$10 utk 3 pieces. As well as fridge magnet. Tapi kalau nak murah, try usha kedai2 luar mall.. Price jauh gile beza. Hoho

• rasa Nasi Katok made in Brunei. Oleh kerana nak rush kejar masa, layan tapau je. Sodap sampai berair mata. Simple je tapi sambal Dia power. B$1 je. Hihihihi. Air mineral pun B$1 je.

• Singgah Kampung Ayer (Water Village). Boley naek sampan kat sini pegi Muzium Brunei. B$5 if I'm not mistaken.

Lesson learn here,

1. Zebra crossing is very useful here. Kita sebagai pejalan kaki kalau nak cross the road, ko jalan je kat zebra tuh and the cars will stop. Great! Takde I trauma nak lintas jalan.. Weeee...
2. Lagi satu, communication kat sini guna Malay je.mtak payah belit2 speaking London. Easy :)

Then, what happened in Kuala Belait?

1730 : Kitorang shoot ke Kuala Belait after that cuz nak rasa sushi Brunei yang merata-rata diperkatakan Oleh orang-orang Miri. And FYI, kul 6 pm Brunei dah maghrib okay? Huhu..

Ops! Lupa nak bagitau.. Speed limit kat Brunei paling max pun 100km/hr. Kalau rasa nak exceed speed nak follow orang2 kaya Brunei nieyh bawak kereta, you are welcome. But, nanti kalau tetibe kena saman dalam dollar currency, sendiri pikir and garu kepada ye? Hehe

Singgah Excapade Sushi whereas kitorang lagi sekali sesat. Seorang awek Brunei punye baek hati boleh lead kitorang ke kedai ni.

This is where our mood spoiled. Our awesome day ruined. Waited for almost 1.5 hours just to get the sushi done in packs instead of 20minutes promised earlier. What the heck? Hoh!

And the service from Miss Honeyly is beyond worse. No smile, the English slang is somehow weird, and not friendly.

** terkilan tak dapat pegi Seria tengok onshore rig plus nodding donkey. Tak sempat. Maybe some other time? :)

Kite festival @Bintulu 2012

Hello..

Nak story the chronology aku pegi kite festival which is held in Bintulu... Kitorang dapat info ni daripada Internet lah.. Almaklumlah... Tourist.. Hanya bergantung kepada maklumat di hujung jari.. Kehkeh..

The date :

The people :

5 of us.. 3guys, 2 girls.. Tapi sebelum depart, of course kita kena MAKAN dulu... Heheh... Isi perut sebelum menghadapi 3hours journey :) bagi mental up sikit.. Hoooo...

The journey :

After breakfast.. Kita layan so-called-highway Sarawak .. Miri - Bintulu (3hours journey).. Sangat-sangat adventure okay? Jalan tar lobang lobang, naik bukit turun bukit, ada jalan tak siap, banyak jalan separa siap, lori besar kicik depan belakang, view sama sepanjang perjalanan (kiri kanan pokok).. Nak lagi menarik, petrol station kat sini tak bukak 24 hours.. Malam je tutup.. And jarak antara petrol station A ngan B tersangatlah jauh. So, tips memandu jarak jauh di Sarawak : RANCANG PERJALANAN ANDA. Huuuu

Upon arrival at Bintulu, which is near to bintulu airport (the old one) kitorang nampak banyak khemah2 putih Jom Heboh. And nampak banyak benda colorful terbang-terbang... Yeah! da sampai!

Angin sangat kuat and langit pun macam gelap semacam.. Oh damn! Tak kan nak sia-sia kan perjalanan 'awesome' kitorang tadi? Ah.... Gamble je... Layan je rintik2 rahmat Tuhan ni... Hoooo.....

Lepas tuh kami isi perut lagi.... Mahal gila okay? Bayangkan nasi goreng USA sampai RM12? Oh me gee... Huhuhu.... Kenyang perut.. Suka Hati.. Kenyang mata tengok layang-layang.. Kita balek :) which is sudah malam... Penat.... Huuuu

Part TWO!

Bangun pagi.. Ooops! Sebenarnya dah terlewat nieyh.. Plan nak gerak ke air tejun at 0700 sharp.. But before that, kena setup2 barang, masak nasi goreng lagi semua... HAHA! Alih-alih, aku baru bangun plak kul 0630.. heh.. kata janji MELAYU :P

Lepas seap-seap, mandi-mandi, packing-packing barang, terus gerak ke penthouse dak-dak laki nieyh. Luckily kitorg pegang key house dorang.. Memang tak bangun lagi.. BUJANG katakan.. huu....

Dengan pantas aku terus gerak ke peti ais terus bersilat buat nasi goreng kampung ayam pedash... FIRST TIME masak untuk orang. Lelaki plak tuh jadi tukang rasa. To make it even worse, two of them already engaged, ketaq eden nak penuhi high expectation dorg... GULP!

Agak-agak da boleh kawen tak? HAHAHAHAHA

Briefly explain, Taman Negara Lambir nieyh ade 4 Waterfalls

1. Latak WF (20 mins) - 1km
2. Pantu WF (1 hour) - 2.6 km
3. Dinding WF (2 hours) - 4.8 km
4. Pancur WF (3 hours) - 7.0 km

Upon arrival,
Terus setting up our BBQ area. BARA itu penting uols.. akibat engineer yang tak paham basic (buat malu kompeni je).... api tak hidup=hidup =.=

Heroin datang... Thanks SARAWAKIAN di atas keprihatinan anda kat orang-orang bando yang terkulat-kulat ngadap arang tak jadi bara :P
